Jan Ensink

Jan Ensink (31) has been working at DOC Kaas since 2015 and is team leader in the pre-processing factory and powder processing shop: “I initially joined the company as a trainee operator. DOC Kaas has given me the opportunity to further develop myself through their internal training programme. After occupying various positions, I advanced to team leader at the production site at Alteveerstraat in Hoogeveen. This is a beautiful historical location that was first put into use in 1896, but today it is equipped with modern facilities. Working in a factory with a continuous production process is a great experience. The atmosphere and the mindset on the shopfloor are good. People work hard, but there is also room for amiability. I am currently working on a University of Applied Sciences (HBO) degree in industrial engineering and management, which is facilitated by DOC Kaas. I am in the right place here.”
